Technical Designer Marine Galley, Catering Systems Division
Are you passionate about technical design, engineering drawings, and turning concepts into detailed solutions? As a Technical Galley Designer, you will play an important role in designing and documenting modern galley areas for cruise ships and other marine projects around the world.
In this role, you will create and develop technical drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex marine projects. You will work alongside experienced designers and engineers while continuously developing your technical expertise in a international and project-driven environment.

What you'll do
Technical Design & Drawing Production
Create and develop detailed technical drawings for galley areas using CAD software.
Produce layouts, detailed views, and component drawings in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of all technical deliverables.
Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Coordination & Technical Support
Collaborate closely with Project Engineers, Designers and other project stakeholders.
Review drawings and documentation received from shipyards and subcontractors, identifying discrepancies and supporting corrective actions when needed.
Support the preparation of equipment and material lists by ensuring technical information is accurate and complete.
Highlight potential design changes and communicate any impacts on project scope, schedule, or costs.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure design deliverables comply with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Participate in evaluating technical modifications and design changes throughout project execution.
Identify and help resolve technical challenges during the design process.
Contribute to improving design practices, quality standards, and ways of working within the team.
Documentation & Data Management
Maintain accurate and organised project documentation, revisions, and technical records.
Ensure consistency and traceability across technical drawings, material lists, and project documentation.
Support data quality throughout project execution.
What we're looking for
Education & Technical Skills
Technical education in engineering, technical drafting, industrial design, mechanical design, or a related field.
Experience creating technical drawings using CAD software.
Basic knowledge of 3D design software.
Understanding of technical drawing standards and mechanical design principles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation.
