Designer, Galley & Provision Stores (Catering Systems Division)
About the role
We are looking for a Designer (GAL & PS) to join our team in our France office, ideally starting in September, and help shape functional, high-quality galley and provision store solutions for our projects.
In this role, you will work hands-on with technical drawings and documentation, contributing directly to project success. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across design, engineering, and project teams, as well as with external partners such as shipyards and suppliers.

What you will do
Create and develop designs
Produce accurate technical drawings in line with project requirements, standards, and specifications
Develop detailed component and layout drawings for galley and provision store areas
Ensure high quality and consistency across all technical documentation
Support projects and collaborate
Review drawings from shipyards and subcontractors and suggest improvements when needed
Work closely with Design Assistants to ensure correct technical data in equipment and material lists
Collaborate with project team members to align design with scope and requirements
Proactively highlight design changes that may impact costs, timelines, or scope
Ensure quality and continuous improvement
Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards, specifications, and contractual requirements
Evaluate design changes throughout the project lifecycle and assess their impact
Contribute to improving ways of working and technical quality
Manage technical documentation
Provide accurate input for equipment and material lists
Ensure consistency and completeness of technical data
Maintain well-structured and traceable documentation

Experience with CAD software for producing mechanical drawings
Basic understanding of 3D design tools
Good understanding of technical/mechanical design principles
Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
