Naval Architecture Internship – Dry Dock Operations (Cadiz, Spain)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Naval Architecture Intern to join our team at a leading dry dock facility in Cadiz. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ship repair and maintenance operations within a dynamic maritime environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drydock Work Coordination: Assist in planning and supervising dry dock activities for vessels.
Hot Work Permits: Support the issuance and monitoring of hot work permits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Pre-Inspections: Participate in pre-inspection processes for vessels and equipment prior to repair work.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work permits, inspections, and progress updates.
Safety & Compliance: Collaborate with the team to uphold safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering degree program.
Strong interest in ship repair, dry dock operations, and maritime safety.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in English; (Spanish is a plus)
