Head of Project Management, Catering Systems Division
As Head of Project Management in our Catering Systems Division, you will hold the overall responsibility for project management, planning, commissioning, and site management in the Catering Systems Division. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial planning and resource allocation to execution and final delivery. You will be expected to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment, working closely with engineering, procurement, sales and quality assurance to achieve project goals. Your leadership will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and innovation within the order to delivery processes.
The position reports to the President of the division and is a member of the divisional management team.
To handle the challenges in the role of Head of Project Management in the Catering Systems Division, following essential skills are required:
- Project Management: A minimum of 10 years of project management work experience is crucial to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and ensure projects meet targets
- Industry & technical knowledge: Good knowledge of the shipbuilding and project management skills are necessary to navigate the complexities of the industry and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations
- Financial Understanding: Understanding project financials is essential for managing budgets and ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints
- Planning and Organizing: Skills in project planning, delegating, and organizing are vital for efficient resource planning and execution of projects
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and team-building abilities are required to instruct and monitor the work of project managers and foster a collaborative environment5.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English is important for clear communication and documentation
